See the bigger picture at INVISTA.com.The Process Control Engineer will primarily support a UNIPOL Polypropylene unit in Longview, TX with additional opportunities within thePropylene business and the broader INVISTA organization.This role will support day-to-day responsibilities for the facility, controls projects/initiatives, and support capital projects. This role can sit in Houston or Longview, TX. If Houston-based, travel expectations will be one week a month. If Longview-based, travel will be 15%. What You Will Do In Your RoleChampion and implement the INVISTA Process Control Vision in an interactive team environmentSupport site regulatory controls improvements to improve console operator successSupport APC and Procedural Automation/State Based Controls as they are implementedProvide technical and financial oversite of contract resources when requiredAct as a SME for DeltaV DCSParticipate in larger FHR and Koch Industries community of practices in these areas and integrate their work into the sitesThe Experience You Will BringRequirements:
One of the following:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering AND a minimum of 5 years of chemicals / refining / polymer experience 10 years of chemicals / refining / polymer experienceExperience in Emerson DeltaV controls system configurationAbility to travel up to 25% based if Houston-based, or 15% if Longview-basedWhat Will Put You AheadExperience with sequence control/state-based automation in DeltaVAPC experience in Aspen Technology DMC3 platformTriconex ExperiencePolymer technology experienceThis role is not eligible for VISA sponsorship.Our goal is for each employee, and their families, to live fulfilling and healthy lives.
