This position will assist in the installation of fiber optic cable for various telecommunication projects.

ROLES AND
Responsibilities:
Provides basic level laborer functions including hand digging with a shovel, setting up traffic control, learning equipment operations, placing fiber, loading materials, etc.
on various safety sensitive utility construction sites Supports the setup and shut down of utility construction projects including traffic control in various conditions including highways, side streets, parking lots, downtown locations, etc.
Safety is the expectation, always follows the required safety practices while performing safety sensitive duties Trains alongside experience construction crews learning fiber installation, print reading, equipment operations, OSHA requirements, etc.
Loads and unloads materials and equipment in from vehicles at construction yards and jobsites Assists in identifying hazards by utilizing the pre-task process Performs other position duties when requested Licenses & Certifications Preferred DL Non-CDL.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
