Accounts Payable Clerk I needed for Oil & Gas Company in Hallsville, TX
DUTIES: Performs a variety of routine and non-routine accounting activities in accounts payable or a related financial area. Processes and posts information. Gathers and analyzes Accounts Payable data to prepare reports for management. Has knowledge of commonly used Accounts Payable concepts, practices and procedures. Degree or equivalent experience. Generally reports to Supervisor or Manager.
Essential Education Required:
High school diploma (vocational qualifications)
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
o Proactive behavior
o Problem solving ability
o Self-directed/motivated
o Positive attitude
o Quick learner -- Retains data
o A/P related experience
o Able to follow standard process
o Comfortable with repetitive type work (and able to remain focused with attention to detail)
o Data entry
o SAP experience - Preferred A/P
o Excellent computer skills
o Excel experience (creating, updating, filtering, pivot tables)
o Internet experience
o Organization skills (able to multitask)
o Attention to detail
o Ability to work to critical deadlines
o Reliable
o Can do attitude
