Production Assembler
Compensation, Experience, Education
o Pay: Up to $17.00 per/hour DOEE
o
Experience: 3 years Electronic Assembly experience. May substitute experience for preferred education.
o Preferred Education: Certificate in Electronic Assembly
o Military Training: May substitute military training for experience and/or education
o Minimum Education: HS Diploma/GED
Job
Responsibilities:
o IPC J-STD Soldering or equivalent
o IPC 620 cable, connector, wire subassemblies or equivalent
o Hand placement of components on circuit board (thru-hole or surface mount)
o Forms parts according to specifications, using pliers, calipers, cutters, and forming tools
o Read and understand electronic schematics, work orders and assembly instructions
o Record data onto work orders or shop traveler
o Inspect to detect malfunctions, and ensure conformance to specifications
o Test assemblies, parts, and circuits for operational defects, and records results
o Repair, or touch-up circuit board
o Pack finished products for transport to storage area
o Prepare or distribute materials/parts to work stations
o File/store records, electronic components, finished products
Qualifications:
o Excellent attention to detail and follow through
o Strong reading comprehension skills
o ISO Class III certification preferred, but not required
o Disciplined self-starter, organized, team-player and cross-culturally adaptive
o Strong communication skills with good leadership skills
o High Level of Professionalism
o Focused on continuous education and improvement
