Licensed Vocational Nurse/LVN
Disability Services of the Southwest is seeking a professional and well-rounded LVN with at least a year of experience in the home health care industry to assist one of our clients for 35 hours per week in Hawkins, Tx 75765!

Our services include personal attendant services, nursing and therapies, as well as assistance in home modifications, adaptive aids, job coaching and supported employment.

The main responsibilities of this position are:
- Rendering skilled nursing care under the general supervision of a registered nurse, according to physicians orders and in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures, established nursing standards, and Agency policy.
- Assuring quality and safe delivery of home care nursing services.
- Addressing safety issues concerning client care with the client, family, caregivers, and Supervising Nurse.
- Submitting documentation that is accurate, complete, and within the required time frames and requirements of the Agency and State and Federal Government Agencies.
- Completing medical record/profile as needed and consulting with physician as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education:
- Current LVN License.
- One year experience as a licensed vocational nurse in a home health care setting.
- Current CPR (BLS) Certification; online certifications are not accepted.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Must be able to lift client with assistance of a lift.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto liability coverage.
