Director of Observation Care Center

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) My client, a large hospital in Eastern TX is seeking highly motivated individual as the Clinical Director for our Observation Care Center & Nursing Resources Center.
The Observation Care Center (OCC) is a 19 bed, 23 hour outpatient observation center for the acute care of patients with minimal co-morbidities, with specific problems needing short term care to determine if they would benefit from further treatment as a hospital inpatient, or if they are able to be discharged from the hospital.
The Observation Care Center receives patients from the Emergency Care Center, Transferring facilities, and directly from physician's offices.
Appropriate medical symptoms/disorders for the OCC include, but are not limited to:
Migraine Headache, Back-pain, Renal Colic, Shortness of breath, Disorientation or change in mental status, Abdominal pain, Dehydration, Nausea and Vomiting.
The unit has the capability for remote telemetry monitoring.
The OCC care-team works closely with physicians to constantly evaluate the status of patients to make determinations about their care and appropriate disposition.
The team works closely with case management and physician advisors to determine proper statusing of patients and placement within the facility.
Patients who are able to be treated as an outpatient without admission to inpatient areas are discharged as soon as possible.
There are budgeted numbers of staff scheduled to work at all times, based upon the census and needs of the patient population.
The staffing levels are determined from historical analysis of staffing patterns, along with projected staffing needs.
Staff is scheduled based upon the ADC of 17 (17 patients) and may consist of registered nurses (RN) , licensed vocational nurses (LVN), Unit Technicians, (UTs), and nurse externs (NE).
The staffing plan is for four (4) nurses, one (1) free charge nurse, and three (3) supportive personnel (UTs and/or NEs) for 17 patients on day shift.
The staffing plan is for the night shift is four (4) nurses, one (1) free charge nurse, and two (two) supportive personnel (UTs and/or NEs) for 17 patients.
Qualifications EURTexas RN license EURCurrent BCLS and ACLS; if not current must obtain within first 30 days of hire EURBachelor's Degree in Nursing EUR3 to 5 years clinical experience; prefer 1 to 3 years management experience in related areas of nursing EURMust be able to utilize computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Power Point EURMust possess effective communication skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data About the town The largest community in east Texas with approximately 100,000 residents, the city offers cultural diversity, quality education and health care, easy access to large metropolitan areas, and abundant recreational opportunities.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
