Coordinates operation of the Patient Assistance program ensuring drug accountability for the drug replacement programs in compliance with clinical, state, and federal requirements.
Qualifications:
Previous Windows experience required to master proprietary software for scheduling and database management
Previous administrative experience to include data entry, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet skills
Energetic and forward thinking with professional image
Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required
Superior organizational and problem solving skills
Minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalent
Minimum 2 years related medical office experience
Bi-Lingual Medical Assistant
Job Description: Provides assistive care to patients. Facilitates the efficient delivery of patient care, supports the professional role of the licensed staff, and provides support and assistance as directed by licensed staff in rendering basic healthcare to the patient.
Essential
Responsibilities:
Interviews both English and Spanish speaking patients, measures vitals, records information into charts
Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients
Drapers patients with covering and positions instruments and equipement
Acts as chaperone for health care providers during patient examinations
Cleans and sterilizes instruments, inventory, and orders medical supplies
Gives injections or treatments
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma, or equivalent
1 - 2 years experience in medical environment
Valid Texas Driver's License, appropriate driving record, and proof of current auto insurance
Must be able to adhere to all client related policies and procedures including confidentiality
Spanish speaking preferred
Must have professional appearance and pleasant attitude
EnergeticEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
