Emperador " Masterclone" Made in Japan, Gibson Style Banjo for sale in Longview, TX
Emperador 'Masterclone' banjo from the 1970s era - Made in Japan - Basically a Gibson RB-250 clone. Info here: banjohangout. org/archive/170360 I listed it in 'very good' condition, mainly due to a few light buckle marks in the resonator. Otherwise, it would pass for 'excellent' condition. Virtually no fret wear showing. No visible dents or dings in the finish. Mahogany neck with rosewood board, MOP 'leaves and bows' style inlay, mahogany resonator with dual concentric rings, fiddle-cut peghead, tube and plate flange, 20-hole flathead tone ring, clamshell-style tailpiece, notched tension hoop, dual coordinator rods, all chrome plated hardware. I'm very impressed by the tone and play-ability of this instrument. It's every bit as good as the Japan made Fender LEOs and other similar 'Masterclone' banjos I've had come through here in the past 20 some odd years. It'll come shipped in the original hard case, also in very good plus condition.
